CrossConflict is a podcast, hosted by Vinita Banthia and Eric Schmitz, that provides weekly updates on some of the major armed conflicts around the world, while also highlighting some under-reported conflicts that we feel are not being discussed enough on mainstream news channels. Each weekly update will describe the facts on the ground for certain conflicts and will attempt to illustrate the dire circumstances faced by vulnerable communities. In addition to informing listeners about conflict all around the world, the podcast seeks to cover the law of armed conflict, discuss possible breaches of the law, and how those breaches may exacerbate the poor conditions on the ground.
